Council member Espinal, the NYC Dept. of Housing Preservation & Development , and partners invite you to join us for two community visioning workshops for the vacant land on the corner of Chestnut and Dinsmore streets. Come and express your thoughts about what you think should be built on this land. The city has promised to build affordable housing and a school. What else should the land look like and include?
The workshops will be from 1-3 PM on Saturday, June 18 and 6:30-8:30 PM on Thursday, June 23 and will take place at the Blessed Sacrament School, 108 Pine Street, Brooklyn, NY 11208.
The event will include opening remarks by elected officials, interactive activities, resource tables, kids’ activity tables, arts activities, refreshments, and Spanish & Bengali Interpretation. See attached flyer for more details.
