Cypress Hills East New York Community Center

Building Community. Growing Leaders.

The Cypress Hills East New York Community Center opened in July of 2022, after years of anticipation and planning. This community center features a state of the art commercial kitchen space, cafe, amphitheater, gymnasium, computer lab, and much more for the enjoyment of Cypress Hills and East New York residents. At this center people of all ages can participate recreational activities, community meetings, and beneficial services. Please see below for the programs and activities we are offering for community members at the community center.

Here are the programs we are now offering at the Cypress Hills East New York Community Center

  • College STEPS & Persistence - College counseling services

  • SNAP - Receive assistance for applying for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

  • Brooklyn Conservatory of Music - Students age 9 to 14 can receive private instrument lessons, a Saturday band program, and summer band camp with the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for little to no cost.
