MEET THE HONOREES
A Special Thank You to td

TD Bank has been a steadfast supporter of advancing economic opportunity and community stability in East New York and Cypress Hills. Through its philanthropic arm, the TD Charitable Foundation, TD has demonstrated a deep and ongoing commitment to supporting low- to moderate-income communities, with a focus on housing stability, small business development, and financial empowerment.
At Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation (CHLDC), this philanthropic support has been instrumental to expanding critical initiatives that directly impact residents’ quality of life. Their investment in our Community Kitchen has helped local entrepreneurs launch and grow food-based businesses by providing access to affordable commercial kitchen space, business development training, and individualized technical assistance. Through this partnership, dozens of entrepreneurs have increased their income, built sustainable businesses, and contributed to the local economy.
In addition, the TD Charitable Foundation has been a key supporter of our Housing for Everyone efforts, helping to prevent displacement and promote housing stability for long-time residents. Their funding has strengthened CHLDC’s ability to provide housing counseling, foreclosure prevention, and advocacy for equitable housing policies, ensuring that families can remain rooted in the communities they call home.
Beyond funding, TD brings a values-driven approach to its work, prioritizing inclusivity, financial literacy, and long-term community investment. Through programs focused on financial education, access to capital, and neighborhood revitalization, TD continues to play a vital role in building stronger, more
resilient communities.
We are proud to recognize TD as our 2026 Corporate Honoree for their unwavering partnership, leadership, and commitment to empowering individuals, supporting small businesses, and strengthening the fabric of our community.
