Can Cypress Hills help my business get a grant?

To receive employment assistance, you must be a participant in a workforce training program provided by Cypress Hills.We provide a CHAMPION training program for young adults, Healthcare Advanced Training, Transportation Advanced Training, IT Training, Culinary Training, Construction Advanced Training, and more for youth and businesses.

Can Cypress Hills help me get a job?

Eligible Asylum seekers who have just arrived in New York City can receive free and confidential help at the NYC Asylum Seeker Resource Navigation Center here..

CBOs/FBOs can schedule appointments for community members through www.nyc.gov/asylum and entering the Access Code 1624-1001-3024.

Other basic services are available at the Asylum Seeker Resource Navigation Center. The Center can also connect individuals with providers and community-based organizations throughout the five boroughs of New York City. To be eligible for services and referrals, you must:

  • Provide U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement paperwork showing that you entered the U.S. Southwest Border on or after January 1, 2022,

  • Currently live in New York City, and

  • Make an appointment with the Center

The Center is open to anyone who meets those three requirements. You do not need to live in a New York City shelter to access these services.
