Lane SSC Student Jonathan Diaz Wins the United Neighborhood Houses - Paramount College Scholarship!

Congratulations Jonathan Diaz on winning the United Neighborhood Houses Paramount College $1500 scholarship to pursue your college dreams! Jonathan was born in Colombia and came to the United States as a teenager, enrolling in Multicultural High School on the Lane campus. Despite a challenging transition to a new high school, let alone a new country, he is always cheerful when he enters our Student Success Center on the Lane campus. He is the perfect balance of academically and socially involved young adult - always making sure to lend a hand in any event happening. Jonathan will be attending Baruch College in the Fall. He is excited to receive this scholarship. For the past 6 months he has been actively researching financial opportunities to alleviate the financial burden of attending college. We could not be happier for him!
